All About the NCLEX®

Okay, let`s discuss the actual figures, nurses.

In 2024, first-time U.S.-Educated NCLEX-RN test-takers achieved a pass rate of 91.16%.

That`s great! However, the surprising fact is that for students retaking the exam, the percentage falls to a concerning 50.93%. That hurts.

What is the reason for the large gap?

It is widely acknowledged that the NCLEX® is challenging for everyone.

Those numbers clearly indicate that your greatest opportunity for success lies in that initial (first-time) attempt.

Retaking it doesn`t mean you`re out of options, but it does indicate that you need to change your approach significantly.

A strategic plan is necessary for success.
Stop trying to memorize everything at the last minute. Don`t limit yourself to reading textbooks only.

We are discussing:
* Focused content review: Identifying your weaknesses and addressing those knowledge gaps.

* Developing test-taking strategies: Understanding how to tackle challenging questions and effectively manage your time.
* Practical experience: Simulating the actual NCLEX® experience with examination-style questions similar to those on the test.

Make sure to take control of the situation.
With the right tools and strategies, you can succeed in the NCLEX®.

Note:
It`s important to note that applicants with criminal offenses beyond minor traffic violations should consult the Florida Board of Nursing’s website
to understand how these issues might affect eligibility for RN licensure.
